2007-06-14 Sweden’s first certified ice technician

Watreco will through the business area REALice™ take part in creation of Sweden’s first education of certified ice technicians. The work with the education is led by Jörgen Rogstam on IUC - Sweden’s Energy and Freezing center in Katrineholm. A group of persons with extensive experience in ice and water technology participates in the work together with experienced and qualified ice technicians that will contribute with valuable experience and knowledge. Similar constructs have already been established in Golfing (Swedish Greenkeepers Association). The education of certified golf technicians is an important part in the vision to create similar certification for Sweden’s ice technicians.

2007-05-30 Sustainable City Development in Malmö

The CleanTech company Watreco will exhibit on the Sustainable City Development Conference in Malmö during 12-14:th of Septembre. The Conference contain 18 workshops and 10 study visits during the three days. It provides a good opportunity to interesting discussions and contacts all over Europe but also other parts of the world. Read more >>

2007-04-24 New order from MKB in Malmö

Watreco receives an order from MKB in Malmö to mix air into water. This is the first order from MKB. The “air invader” will be placed in a pond at the ecological village on Augustenborg in Malmö. MKB will study the results and, if successful, implement the solution in more of their ponds.

2007-03-01 New order from the Malmö municipal authority

Watreco has previously successfully delivered water treatment equipment to some of the ponds at Västra Hamnen in Malmö. The order means that Malmö city authority now orders yet two air treatment cabinets, WSB01, as the last stage in the expansion of Västra Hamnen. “The products and solutions of Watreco, that are both environmentally friendly and ecological, works very well and contributes to a minimal support in different water envrionments that has been constructed to create the characteristcs of the Ecological Village”, says Jan Johansson, development engineer in the real estate office, Malmö City.

2006-11-01 Introduction of REALice™

Watreco releases in connection to the IDA-trade fair in Gothenburg the 14-16:th of November, its REALice™-system. REALice™ is a complete system for treatment of water for ice-skating rinks. The system builds on nature’s own principles and is both economical and ecologigal without additions of chemicals. The system provides a better and more sustainable ice as well as substantially reduced energy costs. A normal ice-skating rink can save about 85000SEK yearly by the installation of a system. The investment has paid itself in less than a year.
