Watreco has the global patent rights for the so-called Vortex generator, (VPT) water process technology, within the water area. This component form a part of many of the company’s products and systems. In the water area, the Vortex generator is utilised within many different application areas to create effects and results such as:
- Highly efficient mixing of gases, liquids, and powders
- Removal of air (nano and micro bubbles)
- Separation of particles such as ions, mangan in water
- Affect the characteristics of water, for example, viscosity and tendency to crystallize

Cleantech Company of the Year 2009

Watreco received this years Cleantech Company of the Year Award and the prize sum of 100 000 Swedish crowns. The reward ceremony completed Stockholm Cleantech Venture Day 2009 - Scandinavias largest cleantech investment day.
